We recognise that there is always room for further improvement as we strive to provide the very best of care and education for your family.  We are constantly open to any suggestions and comments regarding your needs for our service.

The staff at Maryland Care and Early Education Centre are qualified and skilled in the areas of child care and are committed to the care and education of your child.  However, you and your family have the greatest influence over your child’s development and education.  With this the staff would love to work as a team in partnership with you in respect to your child and his/her development. 

We encourage you to spend time at the Centre with your child and to take part in as many activities as are practical to your lifestyle.  We would like to invite you to become involved in our Centre at the level with which you feel comfortable.  This may take many forms, such as reading all newsletters and foyer displays, spending some time in your child’s room, presenting an activity to the children, helping out on an excursion, attending parent evenings or offering ideas for activities you would like to see the staff implement into the program.

You may be able to provide the children with a demonstration of cultural experiences, recreational or occupational displays e.g.: A Police Officer talking about stranger danger, A Fire fighter talking about fire safety, playing a musical instrument, a display of a cultural dance. If you have any such ideas, please approach staff to express your interest.

Another way to be involved with your child's care is to join out Fundraising Team or Management Committee.

You may contact the centre at anytime to check on how your child’s day is progressing or how you child is coping with their new environment.
