Our Centre is a community based centre and therefore the management of the centre is determined by the Management Committee. The Management Committee is comprised of parents and community people who volunteer their time on a regular basis to ensure the centre runs effectively and efficiently.
As a user of the Centre you are encouraged to become a member of the Volunteer Management Committee. All members of our Association are encouraged to attend Management meetings so that you have a valuable input into how the Centre operates. Management Committee meetings are held on a monthly basis. The Director reports on the Centre’s day to day operations to ensure good communication is maintained. All minutes from the meetings are posted in the foyer area and are available and welcomed to be viewed by all members.
The Management Committee has 12 positions available to be held by members of the Association. The executive positions on the committee include Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and Public Officer. There are also 7 ordinary member positions available on the Management Committee. All positions are declared vacant at our Annual General Meeting held in March each year. At this time parents are able to nominate for the positions within the Management Committee. Vacant Positions on the Management Committee may also be applied for year round in writing to the Management Committee.
